Welcome

Welcome to my Women and Money Blog.

I am a mother of two beautiful adopted children. Now my family is expanding with the addition of grand darlings.  I am a lady who was born in the Baby Boomer years and didn’t really know much about the different aspects of money.  Over the years I have learnt many things about money and not all have been of a positive nature.  The last 14 years have been a roller coaster, however the strategies that I have put in place have really changed my life.

I’m not a professional person, or a financial expert, nor did I win a heap on lotto.  I took action even when it felt uncomfortable. I  changed my financial situation to something that I only dreamt about previously, and moved away from the Women and Money trap.

Women and Money Role Model

I am  happy to share my knowledge and information to women (and men) who are on a similar journey.  Shopping goes hand in hand with women, however there is another side of the women and money story.  Having enough money gives us choices throughout our lives ….no matter what phase of life we are in.  Hopefully this will inspire you to take that “plunge” towards creating financial independence.

Future topics:

  1. Where to start
  2. Reduce Bad Debt – i.e  Credit Cards
  3. Mindset
  4. How to re-program your mind
  5. Which type of investing
  6. Ongoing wealth creation

Most importantly,  have fun!

Have a “very brilliant” day.
